The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, known as DEVCOM, is a world-class team of science and technology experts, explorers and developers who are fully focused on empowering the future American Soldier.
DEVCOM comprises seven technology centers and a research laboratory that work as one team around the globe in support of DEVCOM’s mission.
Our science and technology professionals, many who are considered the Army’s leading experts in their fields, leverage cutting-edge technologies to empower the American Soldier with the data and ability to act faster than our adversaries.
DEVCOM is a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Futures Command, which is transforming the Army to ensure war-winning future readiness.
In support to AFC, the DEVCOM Team drives scientific discovery, advance and improve existing technologies, and engineer solutions to technical challenges. We believe in the power of collaboration – our insight and experience with the realities faced by troops in a combat setting, coupled with our longstanding partnerships across academia, the defense industry, small businesses and international allies, place us at the center of a global ecosystem of innovators.
