DEVCOM’s mission is to accelerate research, development, engineering and analysis to deliver warfighter capabilities.  With this in mind, the DEVCOM Team develops technologies that make it possible for warfighters to have the combat capabilities necessary to win on the battlefield of the future. Science and technology are the cornerstone of DEVCOM’s Soldier-Centered Design and Experimentation.

DEVCOM developed its Talent Management framework based on input from its workforce, best practices learned, and momentum gained during the global pandemic in 2020. The framework embraces remote work, flexible work schedules and innovative hiring practices. One of the most significant aspects of the Talent Management framework is that it provides the opportunity to attract
